# Showings

Rentalot handles showing scheduling through natural conversation — prospects don't need to use a booking form.

## How It Works

1. A prospect expresses interest in seeing a property
2. The agent checks your Google Calendar for available time slots
3. The agent proposes times to the prospect
4. Once the prospect picks a time, the agent books the showing
5. Both you and the prospect receive confirmation

## Calendar Integration

Rentalot connects to your Google Calendar to:

- Read your availability (busy/free times)
- Create showing events with property details and prospect contact info
- Avoid double-bookings

Connect your calendar from **Settings** > **Calendar**.

## Managing Showings

View all upcoming showings from the **Showings** page in your dashboard. You can:

- See the full schedule with property and prospect details
- Cancel a showing (the prospect is notified automatically)
- View past showings and their outcomes

## Availability Rules

Fine-tune your showing schedule from **Settings** > **Scheduling** > **Availability**:

- **Buffer between showings** — minimum gap between back-to-back showings (15, 30, or 60 minutes)
- **Max showings per day** — cap the number of showings that can be booked in a single day (1–20, default 10)

The agent enforces these limits automatically when proposing times.

## Calendar Selection

When Google Calendar is connected, you can choose which calendar showings are created in. Go to **Settings** > **Integrations** > **Calendar for showings**. Defaults to your primary calendar.

## Tips

- Keep your Google Calendar up to date — the agent uses it to avoid conflicts
- Set your available hours in **Settings** so the agent only proposes times within your schedule
- The agent includes the property address and prospect's name in the calendar event
