Email Integration
Rentalot can send and receive messages from your own email address — Gmail, Microsoft 365, or any custom SMTP provider.
Connecting Your Email
Go to Settings > Integrations and pick your provider:

| Gmail | One-click OAuth — sign in with your Google account |
| Microsoft 365 | One-click OAuth — sign in with your Microsoft account |
| Custom SMTP | Enter your SMTP host, port, and credentials |
Once connected, all outgoing emails are sent from your address — not a generic Rentalot address.
What Email Enables
- Follow-ups from your own email address
- Reply to prospect emails directly from the dashboard
- Email notifications for showing confirmations and other events
- Draft emails from the management chat using the AI assistant
Conversations
Email threads appear in the Conversations tab alongside your other channels. You can:
- View full HTML email content inline
- See contact details for each sender
- Reply directly from the conversation thread without leaving the dashboard
- Filter conversations by email channel using the filter chip
Drafts
Ask the AI assistant to draft an email from the management chat. Each draft shows the recipient above the subject line, and you can edit both the subject and body inline before sending.
Tier Requirement
Email integration requires the Starter plan or above.
Tips
- Keep your email connected for the best prospect experience — replies come from a name they recognize
- All outgoing emails use your address, so prospects see you as the sender
